Long Island still needs to follow the ESD essential business guidance on construction until the region meets reopening requirement, which can be found here: https://forward.ny.gov/regional-monitoring-dashboard. Once Long Island is ready to reopen, we will move into phase 1 of reopening, which includes construction. More info no phase 1 can be found here: https://forward.ny.gov/industries-reopening-phase. One note I just received from ESD regarding HVAC that may be helpful here: HVAC work is not limited to emergencies. The guidance permits services necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation and essential operations of residences or other businesses. This includes general maintenance by vendors.
