Local Girl Scout Troop 1361 of Bayport thanked veterans this year by creating artwork for our service men and women. The Brownies of Troop 1361 are all third graders and have been together as Girl Scouts since Kindergarten. This year, for Veterans’ Day, the young ladies wanted to celebrate the accomplishments of our troops by memorializing their work in art. The pieces were distributed to family members of the Scouts and also to veterans at the VA Hospital in Northport.
