The pumpkins are out, the air is crisp, and the fish are flying! Autumn on the south shore of Long Island typically means one thing… NY Striped Bass season is upon us and with it comes Long Island favorite pastime: BASS TOURNAMENTS. Striped Bass, or stripers, are New York’s official saltwater fish. They can live up to thirty years and growing to be up to five feet in length and over seventy pounds. If you’re looking for a reel good time (and endless puns), we have just the list of local tournaments for you!
