Old Saint Nick is Hiding in Plain Sight

By Kate Berube

It appears St. Nicholas has come early to Meadow Croft! It’s reported that he left behind 12 baskets of holiday cheer. Leading up to Christmas, those baskets are being virtually raffled off each week on Facebook by the Bayport Blue Point Heritage Association.

On his way out of town, the jolly old elf has hidden 12 snapshots throughout the neighborhood from his time at the estate. Though he sadly won’t be at Meadow Croft to read off his Naughty and Nice list this holiday season, he certainly hasn’t forgotten everyone here. Scattered from Sayville to Blue Point, be on the lookout for laminated posters of old Saint Nick concealed in plain sight. Each picture contains a QR code that brings you to fun holiday trivia.

When you spot St. Nick, remember to grab a selfie for social media and tag the Heritage Association. There is still time to purchase raffle tickets to be entered to win one of St. Nicholas’ baskets and support the great work of this dedicated group.
