The Islip Arts Council recent exhibition Seasons of Meadow Croft, featured a collection of local artwork inspired by the historical house and grounds of John E. Roosevelt Estate located at 299 Middle Road in Sayville. Sponsored by a grant from the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation, the show ran from October 16 to the 24th and was displayed throughout the house. Most notable were the pieces from members of Women Sharing Art, including a striking piece entitled Spirit of Meadowcroft by Sue Miller that beautifully captured the dream-like magic of the charming old manor home.
