Welcoming Home a Hero

On a recent evening Blue Point Fire Department welcomed home Tech. Sgt. Travis Meehan after being deployed overseas. Sgt. Meehan is a proud member of Blue Point Fire Department and ex-captain. The Fire Department strung a banner across Nicolls Road at the intersection of Montauk Highway to thank him for his brave service to our country. The Air Guard also sent a helicopter to do a few flyovers as he arrived home. Thank you Sgt. Meehan!
